From January to October 2025, Uzbekistan was visited by 27,500 French citizens, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the National Statistics Committee, this figure represents an increase of 5,800 people, or 26.9%, compared to the same period last year, indicating growing interest among French citizens in visiting Uzbekistan.
Statistical data show that the majority of French visitors came for tourism purposes — 25,200 people. Official business trips accounted for 1,100 visitors, while around 1,000 came to visit relatives. Educational visits involved 76 people, and commercial trips — 20 people.
Overall, the steady growth of tourist arrivals from France reflects the increasing international appeal of Uzbekistan, as well as the effectiveness of measures taken to develop tourism infrastructure and expand international cooperation in the tourism sector.
