35th Anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence Celebrated in Paris

A ceremonial reception marking the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France.

The event brought together representatives of France’s political, business, academic, cultural and media communities, members of the diplomatic corps, as well as Uzbek compatriots.

During the ceremony, Claude Imauven, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Orano and Chairman of the France-Uzbekistan Business Council at MEDEF International, was awarded the Order of “Dustlik” for his contribution to strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and France.
